the standard technology for casting anodes . The copper flows from the anode furnace into a small tiltable ladle from where it is poured automatically via a moving launder which is attached to a balance for an exact weight into rating wheel with about 20-30 moulds with the inverse shape of the anodes. During the transport of the rotating wheel the anodes are sprayed with water for solidification. Then the solidified copper is lifted automatically out of the moulds and transported to the tankhouse .
