the final product from the production of copper either from electrorefining of sulfidic ores or electrowinning of oxidic ores or in the refining of copper scrap . It is a nearly quadratic sheet of about 1m2 with a weight which may be 30-60 kg from starter sheets of stainless steel or about 60-110 kg from starter sheets of copper. It has normally a very high quality with impurities of only some ppm.
